Essential Care is a bulk billing practice. This means if you have a valid Medicare card, we bill Medicare directly for your doctor consultation — at no cost to you.
Some complex services or procedures may not be fully covered by Medicare. In these cases, there may be a gap fee (an out-of-pocket cost), which we will let you know about at the time of your consultation.
Payment Methods
All payments must be made on the day of your visit. We accept cash, EFTPOS, and credit card.
We also accept selected private health funds including NIB, Bupa, and Medibank.
Please note: we do not accept Diners Club or AMEX.
Workers Compensation
If you are visiting under Workers Compensation, please bring your claim number with you each time you attend.
